維尼·瓊斯（Vinnie Jones），1965年1月5日，維尼·瓊斯出生在英格蘭的沃特福。從影前他是作為一名足球運動員被人們所維尼·瓊斯認識，身高為188CM的他先是效力於威爾德斯通，1986年轉會到溫布爾頓足球俱樂部，他創下的職業球賽中開場3秒的最快黃牌紀錄至今無人能破，盡管有著多項不良紀錄，維尼仍不失為一個頗有才華的球員，後為利茲聯隊、切爾西等名門效力，在英格蘭聯賽中共出場384次，攻入33球，在1988年跟隨溫布爾登隊獲得過足總杯，並擔任過威爾士國際足球隊的隊長，標志著他運動事業的巔峰。1999年他退出在綠茵場，從拍廣告入手，開始向娛樂圈發展，同年他在《兩桿老煙槍》（Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels）中扮演配角Big Chris，他生動的表演成為影片最難忘的亮點之一，並為他贏得一項帝國最佳首演獎。
