這個想法是當初參加蘇格蘭電影節的時候冒出來的，可是由於工作忙一直沒有動筆。現在我把它挖掘出來。
參加蘇格蘭電影節的時候，我對蘇格蘭電影可謂一無所知。蒂爾達-斯文頓很稱職地擔當起了一個推介大使的職責，將濃郁的蘇格蘭風情通過一部部精心挑選的電影，展示給了我們這些外國朋友們。於是，我在想，如果有這么一個機會，要我們給一個並不太了解中國電影的外國人來推薦幾部中國電影，我會選出哪些呢？
以下是我自己個人的選擇。鑒於個人喜好和觀影范圍，我的推薦和推薦理由都是比較片面的。希望朋友們都來寫出自己的想法。積極討論啊！
No.1 《霸王別姬》(1993) 導演：陳凱歌 主演：張國榮 張豐毅 鞏俐
不論從任何角度看，本片都可算是內地導演實力的最高體現。演員的表演也臻入化境。再加上內容涉及到了中國的國粹藝術，是一張非常完善的中國文化招牌。
No.2 《精武英雄》(1994) 導演：陳嘉上 主演：李連傑 錢小豪 周比利
既然是向外國人推薦中國影片，那功夫片是自然不能少的。作為功夫片的巔峰之作，《精武英雄》成為我的首選，武打設計復雜，完成卻十分簡潔。可能很多人都把李小龍的片子奉為功夫片的至尊，但是我覺得李小龍將各國搏擊術糅合成截拳道，將電影帶向了一種更慘烈的視覺刺激。而《精武英雄》對中華武術的展現則更為全面。在本片中，有一種對武學的隱性探討，不僅提供了視覺沖擊，還展示了很多功夫動作的嚴謹與精妙。
No.3 《大鬧天宮》(1965) 導演：萬籟鳴 唐澄 配音：邱岳峰 富潤生 畢克
它是中國動漫的代表，是中國美術思想的展示，是塑造了中國首位虛擬偶像的經典。
No.4 《鬼子來了》(2000) 導演：姜文 主演：姜文 姜宏波 陳強
外國朋友大都喜歡黑色幽默，怎麼也得推薦一部代表中國黑色幽默的電影吧。今年來勢頭猛烈的「瘋狂」系列雖然很受歡迎，但是借鑒成分嚴重，怕被國外兄弟笑話。於是我還是選擇了中國最具黑色幽默精神的姜文導演的作品。推薦《陽光燦爛的日子》吧，我怕外國朋友看不太懂；推薦《太陽超常升起》吧，我看不太懂。只好選擇這部「雅俗共賞」的吧。

中國也是號稱有「大片」的國家，我有義務將我們的大片推薦出去哈。可翻來覆去，閱盡國產大片，發現還真是都不太拿得出手。沒有辦法，咱就按資歷來吧。張導最近靠奧運會開幕式贏得了不錯的口碑，也享有極高的國際知名度，用他的大片時代開山作，會倍兒有面子吧！

阿甘如同一個戰士，以他貌似簡單，實則更為簡單的頭腦和特殊的才能以及強大的體魄為武器，一次又一次地贏得了生存和發展。這是一種對上帝獎勵善良的希望，同時，它更包含了一種基調：向前，跑。有人說，這樣奔跑會給人帶來希望。事實上，希望確實存在，這部獨特的影片贏得了如此眾多的觀眾，吸引了甚至只喜歡輕松的娛樂片的觀眾，便說明了希望本身和希望的魁力。
